Ceren is a Paralegal and a qualified lawyer in Türkiye. She supports the legal team in every stage of an arbitration, including document management, e-bundles, liaising with translators, and providing logistical support in filings and hearings.
During undergraduate studies, Ceren completed an Erasmus program at the Law Faculty of the University of Liège in Belgium. She has completed an LLM Degree from the University of Sussex where her dissertation analysed arbitration clauses under FIDIC contracts.
Before joining Hamish Lal Partners, Ceren interned at leading firms in London which specialised in arbitration, litigation funding, and international construction projects. She also assisted in a dispute between an Azerbaijan-based company and a public institution in Georgia arising from a FIDIC-based contract.
